Court-Ordered Community Service

At Stanly Community Christian Ministry (SCCM), we believe in giving everyone a second chance and providing an opportunity to serve the community in a meaningful way. Our court-ordered community service program allows individuals to complete their required hours while making a positive impact.

Participants must NOT have been convicted of a felony within the last 10 years to be eligible.

We understand that everyone’s situation is different, and we are committed to working with individuals to help them successfully fulfill their community service requirements.

We strive to create a supportive and structured environment where participants can contribute their time, gain experience, and give back to those in our community. If you need to complete court-ordered service hours, please reach out so we can find a suitable placement.

Service Days & Hours

Community service days and hours are given on a first-come, first-served basis, and hours must be completed in a timely manner. Hours are completed on consecutive days and weeks until the required hours are completed.

We take special care in selecting the appropriate location for each individual to ensure they can contribute effectively and fulfill their service in the best way possible.

Service Locations

We take special care in selecting the appropriate location for each individual.

The available service locations are limited to the Clothing Closet or the Warehouse.

If we cannot accommodate your service hours, we will gladly recommend other options within Stanly County to help you meet your requirements.

"Working with individuals completing court-ordered community service has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Many of these individuals have shown an outstanding work ethic, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. It’s clear that they take their responsibilities seriously, and it’s been a pleasure watching them contribute to our mission."

ABOUT US >

SCCM was established in 1985 by a community of churches seeking to serve their community in need. Our non-profit now cares for the needs of our neighbors who live in Stanly County through food and financial assistance. Our goal is to share love and hope with each individual we meet.
