About Us

In 2024, our dedicated volunteers generously contributed over 19,000 hours of their time, helping to power our programs and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.

At Stanly Community Christian Ministry (SCCM), our volunteers believe that putting

"Faith into Action" transforms lives.

We are here to offer hope and a hand-up.

Our work is built on the belief that when faith and

kindness unites, communities strengthen,

and lives are forever changed.

💙 How You Can Help:
Join us in living out faith through service! Whether you volunteer, donate, or spread the word, your support makes a lasting impact.

Get involved today and be part of something bigger. Together, we can bring hope to those who need it most.

"14 My brothers and sisters, what good is it if people say they have faith but do nothing to show it? Claiming to have faith can’t save anyone, can it? 15 Imagine a brother or sister who is naked and never has enough food to eat. 16 What if one of you said, “Go in peace! Stay warm! Have a nice meal!”? What good is it if you don’t actually give them what their body needs? 17 In the same way, faith is dead when it doesn’t result in faithful activity."
– James 2:14-17 CEB

“I feel like I make a difference in someone’s life now and then. I am often asked to pray for a customer or someone in the family and I know I can ask them to pray for me.”

"Whether big or
small, there is always an opportunity to
assist someone in need. It's a wonderful
chance to support my community."

"I was first exposed to SCCM at a mobile pantry. I liked all the activities and the idea
of helping to feed people in need. I decided to start volunteering that day."
